OUR STORY


The creator and founder, Almir Ciarrocchi had a childhood marked by many challenges.

The son of a blacksmith and a cook — who believed in the boy’s strong potential to be a priest — he ended up going to the seminary at a very young age, at the age of 14. There, he devoted himself intensely to his studies and proved to be a brilliant student. In addition to fulfilling his religious activities, he was still studying French, Latin and excelled in Mathematics and Portuguese. In the midst of this routine, Almir still found time to manage the seminary canteen, which, until then, always ended the month in the red. Under his management, the results were impressive and within 3 months the canteen began to make a profit. The seminarian innovated, negotiated with suppliers, brought in many new products, and all the income obtained was used for the seminar’s sports activities. The Bishop noticed Almir’s evident leadership skills, as well as his entrepreneurial spirit. So he called his parents and suggested that he leave the seminary to pursue his innate skills.

This was done and, at the age of 14, back at the family home, Almir revealed to his mother that his biggest dream was to manufacture gates and railings to sell. As a teenager, he started his business in the backyard of the house, having a very experienced locksmith as a teacher. He produced railings, windows and gates, which were personally delivered by cart by the teenager and that was Ciarrocchi & Corrêa. After this period, Almir founded CCS, which today is one of the largest industries of metallurgy solutions in Brazil, also operating in the United States and Europe.

1995 – CCS is born

In 1995, already married to Maria Helena and father of two girls, an insight would change Almir’s story again. In Limeira, in the interior of São Paulo, the entrepreneur had contact with a laser cutting machine, which had been imported from Japan. The machine’s technology, still almost unknown in Brazil, enchanted Almir. A visionary, he understood that there would soon be an extensive market that would demand this kind of innovation. So, that same year, he rented a shed to accommodate the machine – however, due to his privileged strategic vision, he also equipped the place with bending welding machines, to offer the complete solution to the customer. And so CCS was born.

1999 and 2000 Accelerated Growth

In mid-1999, Greice, their eldest daughter, joined the company’s governing body. At the end of the same year, the company’s headquarters was inaugurated, in a space of 6 thousand m² on the Anhanguera highway, in Limeira (SP). And in 2000 CCS was awarded the ISO 9001 certificate for the first time.

2003 to 2005 – More expansions

In 2003, with a focus on excellence and business expansion, CCS expanded, with the construction of an administrative building and industrial and storage sheds, totaling 19 thousand m² of built area. Aware of the need for improvements and focus on environmental management, CCS implemented awareness training and in 2005 acquired its first ISO 14001 certification, focused on the environmental management system.

2010 – growth continues in Limeira

In 2010, CCS continued to expand and there was another expansion to 38 thousand m². In addition, Caterpillar has certified CCS as a “World Class Supplier” and the company has also been certified to ISO/TS 16949

2013 – Expansions – Limeira-SP Plant

CCS expanded to 50 thousand m².

2014 – Competitiveness beyond SP

In 2014, the company expanded beyond state borders, when a plant was opened in Palmeira, Paraná, on a plot of land with 110 thousand m² and 22 thousand m² of built area. The goal was to optimize logistics to better serve customers in the South, as well as reduce costs and increase competitiveness.

2019 – Recognition

In 2019 CCS received Great Place to Work certification for the first time, being recognized as an excellent company to work for in Brazil.

2020 – Honesty and Persistence

Marking the celebration of 25 years of CCS history, a time full of learning, overcoming and many achievements. Our founder, Almir, passed away in 2017, but he left an extraordinary legacy. Both we, the company’s leadership, and our employees, have immense pride and admiration for him. We always carry his teachings in our hearts, honoring and thanking all his examples of honesty, determination, charity, perseverance, faith, positive thinking, entrepreneurial vision, and, above all, the motto that everything is possible. We believe that the success story of CCS is due to the constant investment in technology, robotization, solid technical staff and people engaged and committed to the customer. But, above all, to the ability to overcome challenges.

2021 and 2022 – Constant investment

In 2021, CCS received the Great Place to Work certification, for the third time in a row. And today in 2022, CCS has more than 2200 employees who are essential for our history to continue being written.In addition, it has a total area of 370 thousand m² and a built area of 55 thousand m² at the head office in Limeira/SP and it has a total area of 110 thousand m² and a built area of 20 thousand m² at our branch in Palmeira.
